If the skies clear on Sunday night September 27 we will have a chance to see the lunar eclipse. This will be a great opportunity because the eclipse will occur in the evening with the total eclipse at 10:11 pm. Of course you can see this from your own home, but, if you would like to have company you can go to Discovery Place in Charlotte where the Charlotte Amateur Astronomy Club will be hosting an event on the third floor of the parking deck. This event will be canceled if it’s raining or cloudy.
