WOW-Planetary Lineup!

In the early morning sky for the next few weeks there’s a chance to see five planets lining up in the sky and at times the moon joins them. This is a rare site and one visible early in the morning just before sunrise. Many of us are already up at this time of year so it wouldn’t take much effort to walk out and look in the still dark sky for a rare treat. You will see Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn lined up and on some days you’ll see the moon with them. Mercury is the trickiest to see, as it is very low in the southeast. The best time for viewing will be about 30 minutes before sunrise. And you need a cloudless sky, maybe a bit trickier. This astrological treat is viewable between now and February 20.
